Molly Mulshine got her start as a small-town beat reporter in New Jersey covering local politics and human interest stories. She was quickly handpicked to run the Asbury Park Sun, a nascent hyper-local news site affiliated with the alt-weekly TriCityNews.

Soon, a viral video got her on the New York Observer’s radar. She started working as a tech reporter there and later moved to the style desk. She then worked at Business Insider’s Tech Insider as senior editor of digital culture.

Her most recent staff position was at Galore, a multimedia lifestyle brand for millennial and Gen-Z women. As senior editor, she touched everything from meme-making to video production to editorial and helped the site grow its traffic exponentially.
